April 28 — The Grey Eagle

The lineup for Wednesday, April 28th Grey Eagle show includes Kim Wilson (of the Fabulous Thunderbirds), Bob Margolin, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, Mac Arnold and of course Mac Arnold & Plate Full O’ Blues...

The featured artists will be performing a set together (The Muddy Waters Revue) and there will be a live recording of the show!

Opening the show is Blonde Blues Band, with an appearance by
Skinny Legs & All.

April 29 — Morehead Street Tavern

For Thursday the show moves to Charlotte and the Morehead Street Tavern with Bob Margolin and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith.

Opening the show is Michael Wolf & the Voodoo Brothers, and Heather Lee & the General (Drummer Steve Burgess from the JohnBoy & Billy Big Show).

April 30 — Burgundy Blues Jazz Club

On Friday we'll be at Burgundy Blues Jazz Club in Anderson. Bob Margolin will join us for the show.

The opener is Blues Man Drink Small.

May 1 — Tac Air Hangar

The Saturday, May 1st show is rain or shine at the Greenville downtown airport inside the Tac Air Hangar. It will features Bob Margolin, Rocco Deluca, The Nightcrawlers, The Piedmont Boys, Lionz of Zion, Jonas Sees In Color, Skinny Legs & All, and Taylor Moore & Gwyn Fowler. Several local schools will also be participating in the event.

Doors open at 3:00 and the music begins at 4:00. There will be arts & crafts for the kids. Bring your own chairs!

Food will also be available, including Mac's own collard greens along with corn bread, pizza, collard green pizza, chicken, ribs, ice tea, beer and wine.

Advance tickets are available at Harley Davidson of Greenville and Horizon Records. Kids 12 and under are Free and ages 13–17 will be $5.

There will be designated motorcycle parking.

About the festival

In April of 2007, Plantation #1 Productions produced Greenville SC’s first Blues Festival “The Mac Arnold Cornbread & Collard Greens Blues Festival” reuniting Mac with old friends such as Hubert Sumlin, Eddie Shaw, Bob Margolin, Willie Smith and many others. The festival is now in its fourth year and has raised thousands of dollars for the Children’s Hospital.
